A. Hello, my name is Mark Chang and I am currently in 11th grade. Until now I have been taking pictures for about ten years. I started taking pictures since I was in China.
Q. What triggered your interest in photography?
A. When I was in China, people around me introduced me photography. The idea of leaving one’s memory behind in a photograph made me think more deeply upon the field of photography.
Q. In the photography club, what do the members usually do?
A. We have five members at the moment, and these members include: Taehoon, Roy, Steven, James and myself. We usually take pictures according to the topics that I give to the members. Then, we share the pictures we took and give critiques and compliments to each other.
Q. What do you normally criticise or compliment about?
A. I criticise or compliment the angles they take and question them if the photographs have some kind of meaning behind. If it doesn’t have any meaning, then the photograph doesn’t mean anything.

A. We decided to hold an exhibition because the photography club had to to do something in order to show the progress.

A. I expect the audience to feel some kind of emotion from the pictures in the exhibition. Any emotion will be fine.
Q. Out of many photographs, which piece stands out to you?
A. I think every piece stands out to me. Everybody has a different perspective when they look at different photographs.
Q. Are you planning to continue your photography activities in the future as well?
A. Yes, I will do at least something related to that, either as a hobby or a career.
