[[Exhibition Dates Extended: September 25th - November 10th]]
In the first exhibition of the academic year, Change Ahead, features two major projects from 11-12 students in the Studio Art I, and Studio Art II courses. This collection of work explores the overarching theme of change - both as a literal metamorphosis, and more broadly as "art's" power to illicit change through its message.

Opening Reception, May 29th
In our second-annual exhibition, the AP Studio Art students of 2017 (Yondoo Kim, Seonjae Park, and Roy Ru) showcased their AP portfolios in a cumulative show. This exhibit featured the works created throughout the course of the 2016-2017 academic year- over 20 works per student!
March 5th - April 7th
This is the second year running of the Juxtaposition exhibition at CDS. It featured large-scale collaborative drawings by 9th grade students. These works showed significant political or social figures placed side-by-side with a single word of text. The exhibit asks the audience, "What are the implications of these two things when place together?"
January 16th - February 28th
This exhibition features select works from the Independent Series of CDS 11th and 12th grade students. The themes vary from person to person, but individual works touch upon such issues as body image, nostalgia, and mental illness.
